These systems are particularly popular for:
- Multiple use at a property when the supply is to remain unchanged regardless of demand.
- Properties where boilers require a constant pressure.
These systems fall into two categories:
Submersible pumps that are located underwater and surface mounted pumps that draw water from secondary supplies.
The principle of a constant pressure system is that the flow and pressure required will remain unaltered regardless of demand. This feature is delivered by incorporating variable speed functionality into the system. As demand changes then so the pump speed changes to ensure the pressure in the system remains constant.
