As standard, all Grundfos SP borehole pump models are made entirely of stainless steel DIN W.-Nr. 1.4301 (AISI 304).

Where particularly aggressive liquids are encountered, the SP Grundfos borehole pumps are available in extra high grade stainless steel DIN W.-Nr. 1.4401 (AISI 316), or, for severe conditions, DIN W.-Nr. 1.4539 (AISI 904 L). This pump range is available with single or 3 phase motors.

Well and Drainage Pumps

These submersible water pumps are ideal for lifting water up to 40 metres from wells or tanks. They are frequently designed with inbuilt dry run protection and require no sleeving to operate in a well or tank.
 
The standard well pumps will pump clean water but the drainage pumps are designed to lift and move contaminated water from depth.

The single piece 5'' borehole pump, installed inside collecting tanks or wells, 6'' septic tanks, Roman well, basins or watercourses, is suitable for providing pressurised water in domestic systems, small-scale farming and sprinkling systems for gardens and vegetable gardens.
 
Base plate version. The SPO pump with base plate is ideally suitable for installation in combination with rainwater collection systems. The pump can be fitted with a flexible hose, filter and floating ball ensuring that water is drawn from a spectific level in the tank in order to avoid possible impurities floating at the water surface. The pump also enables dry installation outside the well or tank as the motor is cooled by the pumped liquid.
